This workshop is a hands-on, no-code introduction to applying Generative AI in everyday finance workflows. The curriculum centers on high-utility workflows for core tasks such as:
- synthesizing key points from filings and transcripts,
- drafting investment memos, and
- refining professional communication.
The technical scope ranges from basic Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to multi-step agentic systems and no-code microapp development. Without prior programming experience, participants will build practical tools during the session, ready to integrate directly into their daily work.
The session prioritizes compliant and responsible adoption, covering data policies for off-the-shelf AI tools and the limitations of Large Language Models (LLMs). Participants learn to distinguish data that can be shared with external services from sensitive information that must remain local. We also address LLM risks, such as hallucinations and context limits, teaching verification practices to ensure outputs remain accurate and defensible.
